Actress and director Angelina Jolie has been open about her fight against potentially getting breast cancer, which included having a double mastectomy and her ovaries removed. But those surgeries were not the end of her health concerns, as she describes to the
Daily Telegraph.
The removal of Jolie’s ovaries and fallopian tubes caused her to go through menopause at an early age. But even though some it’s an uncommon experience for a 40 year old, Jolie says she’s been uncommonly lucky, when compared to her mother’s experience, which helped inspire her film “By the Sea,” which Jolie wrote, directed, and costars in with husband Brad Pitt.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Jovovich shared an image of “Old Alice,” who makes her debut in the franchise’s sixth and final film, hinting that the elderly state we see here might not be exclusive to the story’s final minutes.
